The Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall is a Portland landmark which was restored by the Schnitzer family. The interior is magnificent, and the hall houses the Portland Symphony Orchestra with James DePriest as its conductor.
Portland Center for the Performing Arts is the newest addition to Portland's cultural landscape. Located across the street from the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, it hosts many productions throughout the year.


Antique fountains are found throughout the downtown area.
Portland is known for its many beautiful churches.
